Did you know that the use of the herringbone pattern dates all the way back to Roman times? Using a herringbone brick pattern placed atop crushed stone, the Roman's favored this design when creating roads and pathways since the pattern was extremely stable and durable.
Through the centuries this pattern has been found from Egypt to America and everywhere in between. Today, Sherpa reimagines the herringbone pattern in two new Classic finishes; Champagne Black and Slick Brick.
- Champagne Black envisions a scene in a small, Italian town where the hollow black night is interrupted by shopkeeper candles bouncing off the herringbone streets below.
The Champagne Black Classic Sherpa features shiny black bricks and trim contrasted with matte-champagne fill.
- Slick Brick takes place in the same town as above but imagines the coming morning as a midnight rain has left the streets damp and shimmering, while the early-morning sky remains overcast and gloomy.
The Slick Brick Classic Sherpa features shiny gunmetal bricks and trim contrasted with matte-black fill.

We have a hassle-free return policy at Pen Place which allows you to return any non-personalized item, for any reason, within fourteen (14) days of the date of receipt. The delivery date will be determined by your UPS or USPS tracking number. If you wish to return an item within the fourteen (14) days allowed, please ensure the item is in new condition and has all original packaging that were shipped with your order.
If you would like to return an item, please email us at contact@penplace.com or call us at 816-474-7500 and state why you would like to return the item. Pen Place will return your communication to approve or disapprove return of the item. If the return is due to the wrong product being shipped, Pen Place will send and pay for a return label. Otherwise, the customer will pay for and supply the return label. Refunds will be processed when the item is received at Pen Place. The customer will be refunded to the credit card or PayPal account they paid with and will be the next day after the item is received by Pen Place. Returns will be shipped back to:

Exceptions to the Return Policy
Shipping charges will not be refunded unless we made an error in the order. Items that have been engraved cannot be returned unless their was a misspelling of the name. If an item is returned, but is not in new condition, the item will be returned to you and you will not receive a refund. There is a 30% restocking fee for all returns.
